President's Welcome

  • Hello,

My name is Ali Moore and I am the current president of the Panhellenic Council at the University of Toledo. When I arrived at UT freshman year, I did not come with the intention of going Greek. My roommate at the time told me about recruitment and insisted that we go together and check it out. Deciding to go Greek that day was the best decision that I have made thus far in my college career. I could’ve never imagined all of the opportunities, memories, and what an impact my sorority would make on my life.

Joining a sorority is not just about wearing cool Greek letters on your shirts or bags; it is about a sisterhood and bond that will last a lifetime. You are joining a community of people who share your interests and even expose you to new things that you never would have thought to try. You gain mentors, best friends, and endless networking opportunities that will last not only in college but in the real world.

Everything that I have done in my college career relates back to my decision to go Greek. My sorority has provided me with leadership skills, philanthropic endeavors, and volunteer opportunities. I have gained a passion for helping others and contributing to the welfare of my community. From studying at the library with my sisters to movie nights that last until the early hours of the morning, I can honestly say that I have made memories that will last for the rest of my life.

When you go Greek, you will meet people that will bring out the best in you. This community offers you an experience of a lifetime that you won’t regret, so dive in and GO GREEK!

    Best Wishes,

    Ali Moore
